Anti-Ragging Policy

Zero Tolerance Policy

SRGP Chakia Chandauli maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy against ragging. Any form of ragging is strictly prohibited and will result in severe disciplinary action.

What is Ragging?

Ragging is any act that causes or is likely to cause physical or psychological harm or raise apprehension or fear in a student, including:

  • Any act of physical or mental abuse
  • Teasing, taunting, or playing practical jokes
  • Asking students to perform acts that have the effect of causing or generating a sense of shame or embarrassment
  • Any act that prevents, disrupts, or disturbs the regular academic activity

Anti-Ragging Committee

We have a dedicated Anti-Ragging Committee that monitors and addresses any incidents of ragging. The committee includes:

  • Principal (Chairperson)
  • Faculty Members
  • Student Representatives
  • Local Police Representative
